In a surprising turn of events, a social media video allegedly shows former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni enjoying a social gathering while smoking a hookah. The footage captures the two-time World Cup-winning captain casually puffing on a hookah pipe, releasing smoke into the air.

The authenticity and timeframe of the video remain uncertain, leaving social media abuzz with varied reactions. Fans, accustomed to admiring Dhoni for his athletic prowess, were taken aback by the unexpected glimpse into his off-field activities.

Recently, adding another layer to Dhoni's recent narrative, legal action has been initiated against Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Vishwash of Aarka Sports and Management Limited. The legal battle, unfolding in a Ranchi court, centres around a 2017 agreement between Dhoni and Diwakar, outlining plans for a global cricket academy. Allegedly, Aarka Sports failed to meet specified conditions, including franchise fees and profit sharing.

Despite Dhoni's attempts to resolve the matter and multiple legal notices, the terms of the agreement remained unfulfilled. Consequently, on August 15th, 2021, Dhoni revoked Aarka Sports' authority letter. Represented by Dayanand Singh from Vidhi Associates, the cricket icon claims a loss of over Rs 15 crore due to deceit and non-compliance by Aarka Sports. Simant Lohani, a close friend, also filed a complaint of threats and verbal abuse from Mihir Diwakar following their legal action.

This legal turmoil coincides with MS Dhoni's challenges, including knee surgery at Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital, back in June last year. Public interest soared during his recovery, marked by appearances in Ranchi and engagement with fans through his passion for vintage cars. Now fans await to see him in action during IPL 2024.

Meanwhile, here's how Twitter reacted to MS Dhoni's video of smoking hookah:
